Brilliant advice marcus, once again.
Love the way you made yourself just suddenly fade out at the end.
Hope all's well.

Thanks Oday! I appreciate the great feedback and will of course keep on working on the vlogging - I particularly agree with your first point but it's something I'm working on and will hopefully see improvement in over time :)

I'm saving the Tweed suit and oversized thick rim glasses for the next video post :P

Ooh, Vlogging. I think you had a fairly well-polished video, with professional looking transitions and I really liked the way you provided the links in neat boxes, rather than the popular method of saying the links twice, LOUDLY. That said, here are a few "helpful hints":

1. Some people have really clear, understandable voices on videos. Most, however, don't, and you fall into the latter category. What I'm saying is, I had trouble hearing what you were saying. Even with people who are easy to hear, I greatly prefer it when they write a bullet-point summary of the most important points underneath the video. Of course, you may want to play around with the position of the mic, or consider buying a mic that's better than the one on the webcam.

2. The background was a tad boring. It's not critical, but to me, the backdrop of a vlog is like the theme and sidebar of a blog. You know, put some more blue, a poster with your website address, that kind of stuff. Use it as a tool.

3. I know from personal experience that it's tough to be energetic on camera when you're trying to remember if you said everything you wanted to, but perhaps consider being more animated or adding sound effects. Again, not critical but it would help grab attention.

So, that's it. I have a lot of respect for you, you always post great tips, and your first vlog was no worse than most amateurs across YouTube (better, because it had actual info in it instead of rants and tangents). I hope you take my suggestions into consideration of you choose to continue vlogging. Of course, I don't vlog (I tried it and decided I was better off blogging for now); but I do watch plenty vlogs. Peace :P

One last thought, before watching this I had a mental image of you with brown hair, glasses, and a twead suit. Don't know why.
