About this contract

This 4-page long agreement sets out the conditions in which an Agent introduces an Artist to a Hirer and facilitates the negotiation of the commercial, legal and health and safety terms of a particular engagement.

This agreement is closely related to the Agent-Artist Agreement as it provides information related to the engagement that the Agent is required to pass on to the Artist (clause 4).

A separate document, often called the Booking Form, is needed to specify aspects such as date and time of the event, type of event, equipment required, agreed budgets,transport arrangements, etc.

Useful for Agents negotiating (not entering into) engagement on behalf of artists.
